Regan Tamanui has created a montage of stencilled images of Ben Cousins for a laneway art exhibition in Sydney. Regan chose Ben Cousins after seeing his ‘Such Is Life’ tattoo - a reference to Ned Kelly, another subject of Regan’s stencil works. The work can be seen in May Lane, near the St Peters Railway Station in Sydney.

Rhapsodia

2 November to 15 December 2007

Kit Wise’s new exhibition, Rhapsodia is showing at the Centre for Contemporary Photography in Melbourne. The show consists of illuminated digital imagery and animation, used to represent the transcultural ideal city. The work originated from an Australia Council Residency in Tokyo, and was supported by an Australia Council New Work grant. The exhibition continues until 15 December.
