Congratulations to Neil Emmerson, winner of the $7,000 Fremantle Print Award 2006.
Emmerson’s screen prints wood nymph triptych (the heart is a lonely hunter) is part of a series of works that were recently shown at Criterion.
‘The prize is Australia’s most prestigious for prints celebrating the vitality of printmaking today.’ Judged by Jenepher Duncan, Curator, Contemporary Art, Art Gallery of Western Australia; Dennis Nona, artists; and Jasmin Stephens, Acting Exhibitions Manager Fremantle Arts Centre.

Periscope is a solo exhibition of works by Geoff Parr that are informed by his activism and commitment to social and environmental issues. The issues based exhibition is curated by Michael Edwards (Director, CAST) and Maria Kunda (Lecturer in Art Theory and Design, Tasmanian School of Art, University of Tasmania).
